End of financial year new car deals

The end of the financial year is a great time to score yourself a good car deal. Dealers are usually willing to negotiate to clear stock and boost their results. This year, they will be even keener after the coronavirus restrictions have eased.

And they aren’t the only reasons to buy before June 30. The government has also enhanced the tax-deductibility of business vehicles, including a big increase in the Instant Asset Tax Write Off up to the Luxury Car Tax threshold.

Toyota Kluger GX

The Toyota GX Kluger is a seven-seater with a V-6 engine. You should be able to pick up a front-wheel drive auto model for $41,990 drive-away. That’s more than $8,500 off the normal price.

 

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GLX

The automatic version of this 4WD is available for just $45,990 drive-away. That’s more than $7,000 off the normal price. It comes with a seven-year or 150,000 kilometre warranty too.

 

Jaguar E-Pace P250 Chequered Flag

For big savings on something more stylish, it’s hard to go past this one. Right now you should be able to save more than $6,000 on Jaguar’s small SUV. It’s auto model has been reduced to $65,990 drive-away.
The E-Pace P250 sports a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and it’s an all-wheel drive. It also comes with a 3-year/100,000 kilometre warranty.

 

Hyundai Tucson Active X

The manual model of this front-wheel drive is now $31,990 drive-away. That’s a saving of over $3000, plus there’s a factory bonus of $1,500 on offer.

Ford Ranger XLT

The auto model of this 4×4 dual-cab ute is available for $53,990 drive-away. That’s a saving of more than $9,000. It has a 3.2-litre, five-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. It also comes with satellite navigation and LED headlights.
The manual version is also great value at $53,990.

Toyota HiLux SR

The Hilux is Toyota’s best-selling model in Australia. Right now you can pick up the auto model of their SR 4×4 dual-cab ute for $47,990 drive-away. If you do, you’ll save yourself more than $7,000 off the normal price. The SR has active cruise control and a five-star crash rating from ANCAP.

Mitsubishi Triton GLX

You can also save more than $7,000 on an automatic Mitsubishi Triton GLX, plus score a $1,500 factory bonus. The price is a very affordable $38,490 drive-away. It comes with a seven-year/150,000-kilometre warranty.

VW Golf R

This all-wheel drive, top-of-the-range model is now available for $55,990, a saving of more than $6,600.
 

VW Polo GTI

If the Golf is out of your price range but you still want a VW, you can get this sporty model. It’s now $31,990 drive-away, which is a saving of $3,500.
 

Hyundai i30 N

The N-Line is the premium i30 model. The auto model with a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine is now $33,903 drive-away. That’s a saving of about $3,500 off the normal price.
